Any Galaxy user who has had a chance to try the Android 13 and One UI 5.0 beta and uses the Samsung Music app for their music needs will know that the app is already working on the new version of Android and One UI. Even so, Samsung Music is now getting an update that adds official support for Android 13 and One UI 5.

As usual, a Samsung app supporting a new version of Android usually indicates that a public stable version of it may be released soon, although there is no guarantee that this will happen. We recently exclusively reported that Samsung will update a number of devices to Android 13 and One UI 5.0 before 2023, but it are there are still three months to go before you say goodbye to 2022, so you might want to keep your excitement in check.

Not much to see here except official support for Android 13, One UI 5.0

Along with official support for One UI 5.0, Samsung says the new version of the app also brings some bug fixes. It also says that the layout of the widgets has been improved, but this particular change has been mentioned in many recent app updates and as expected, the latest update doesn’t affect the existing widgets either.

To download the latest version of Samsung Music, click this link on your Galaxy smartphone to enter the Samsung Music Galaxy Store page and click the Update button. If that link doesn’t work, just open the Samsung Music app, tap the three dots in the top corner, open Settings, tap About Samsung Musicand press the Update Here button.

For some devices and regions, the update may not be available immediately. In that case, just wait a few hours or a day or two before checking again.
